Today is Julie’s day to be featured with her Catholic University graduation photos and I’m excited to share them with you!
EVERY GRADUATE HAS A STORY
Reminiscing on Julie’s Catholic University graduation photos is reminding me of how important it is to document your milestones. And how impactful, meaningful, and precious it is to graduate from college or graduate school. Every graduate has a story to share about their journey to graduation, and Julie is no exception!
LET’S GO ALL OUT!
Julie contacted me long before graduation season, excited to plan her Catholic University graduation photos. She was looking forward to celebrating her accomplishment with these special photos, as well as getting to include her boyfriend, Bryan, who also graduated this spring. We decided to do a two hour session so she could go all out and include two meaningful places – the Lincoln Memorial, to connote that quintessential D.C. vibe, as well as the Catholic U campus where she spent so much of her time (before things went virtual in 2020).
GOING GOING BACK BACK…
I was personally excited that Julie wanted to include her campus in her photos, and doubly excited that the campus was allowing photography around the time of graduation (some of them weren’t this year). I’ve never done a session at CUA, and I was definitely missing out! It’s such a beautiful campus! Two of my aunts actually worked for two of the Deans at Catholic U when I was growing up, so I spent a fair amount of time on campus and in the Basilica. It was fun to be back there after probably 25 years (or more… yikes!).
WHAT AN HONOR
Julie is a self described well-rounded hard worker, who loves to travel (Iceland was on her itinerary for the summer!), spend time with her nieces and nephews, and is admittedly obsessed with zombies. She’s also the first to graduate college in her family, and I just love that she wanted to honor that with these amazing Catholic University graduation photos!
Congratulations again to Julie (and Bryan)!!
