HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!
micro WEDDINGS
elopements
I love when my couples or clients put so much thought and love into their session. Gil and Cole did just that with their Green Spring Gardens engagement photos session in Alexandria, Virginia, last fall.
The Right Spot
Gil and Cole were super excited for their engagement session, and put a lot of emphasis on finding the perfect spot for their photos. I’m usually the one suggesting places and doing the research, but Gil and Cole took matters into their own hands and found a new to me spot that turned out to be absolutely stunning during the fall!
Green Spring Gardens
Gil and Cole love spending time together and often do so outdoors, so it made sense they wanted a beautiful outdoor location with a mix of greenery and architecture. I think with this location we were able to accomplish the perfect balance of both with their Green Spring Gardens engagement photos.
In Stitches
Gil mentioned that she loves how easily Cole can make her laugh, and I will tell you that played a big part in how great Gil and Cole’s Green Spring Gardens engagement photos turned out. Cole is a pretty funny guy and he had Gil in stitches during their session. Just look at those smiles and laughs – I love how humor translated into their photos.
New Fav
Besides the gorgeous autumn light and super stylish outfits, what makes these photos some of my favorites from last fall is the connection you can see between these two love birds! You can tell they value spending time together, are easy going while still being able to stand for their vision, and they were just so fun to get to know and work with. They were also super patient, which was a must at this very busy park, as well as game to try some fun stuff, like my new fav leaf throwing shot! haha
I’m excited to share these photos with you and hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Ahhh! What a beautiful couple!!
Not my typical style, but I just loved the look on their faces matched with the washed out light!
How freaking adorable are these two?!
