Oh, man, this photo session was so cool and so special – I’m excited to share it with you! Last fall I had the chance to take group Lincoln Memorial Graduation photos for these five high school seniors and I just love how their photos turned out!
Class of 2021
It’s obviously a challenging time right now for everyone, and I know it’s been especially challenging for high school seniors. Where these five guys live, school has been virtual all year – they’re just now in March getting to go back in a hybrid way (part of the week in school, part out). And that’s gotta be a bummer for your senior year in high school. My heart goes out to the class of 2021, big time.
They Made It Happen
I love how Sam and his group of close friends decided to take matters into their own hands and create some memories on their own! I’ve known Sam’s mom for about six years and when she had the idea to do group Lincoln Memorial graduation photos, I was definitely excited! I’ve never worked with a group of high school guys before, and let me tell you, it was an experience! haha They kept me on my toes!
A Laugh a Minute!
Sam and co had so many fun and funny ideas, I just love how many different group and individual portraits we got in this one session. The group came up with their own funny ideas – like proposing to each other, picking each other up, riding around on a bike, dancing. I was laughing pretty much the entire time! I hope they had fun at their session (I definitely think they did!), but I for sure had fun as well!
Making Memories
The best part about their group Lincoln Memorial graduation photos besides having these photos as a keepsake, they also had the opportunity to create memories together. They got to get together at a time when they had been separated, spend time outdoors hanging out together, look their best, get some cool photos, and have fun. This session is a unique memory from their senior year and I’m glad they got to have it!
Multiple people legit stopped to ask if these guys were in a band. (Some of them actually are!)
This is a favorite!
Too cool! haha
