I’m *so* excited to share today’s Baker Park engagement photos session with you guys because it took place in Frederick, Maryland, with my friend, Michelle, and her fiancé, Travis!!
I remember the day I met Michelle. My friend, Vanessa, and I met up for dinner and she brought her bff, Michelle. What I remember from that day was that Michelle was as funny as she was sassy, and I just knew there was something I liked about her! Michelle and I developed our own friendship over the years and I feel like we are kindred spirits. We think the same way about a lot of things, are Type A personalities, and are both creative souls who love to execute our visions. Michelle is one of the most talented and creative people I know and I always get excited to see what she creates, whether it’s her home styling, cakes and cupcakes (OK, mostly these – she’s an amazing baker – check her out here), or her cute outfits!
Just like I remember the day I met Michelle, I also remember the day she met her now fiancé, Travis. Michelle and I met for brunch at Vintage restaurant, the day we took this picture as a matter of fact –
And she told me she had a blind date with someone. She told me a little about him and said she was excited to meet him. When I checked in a few days later she said they had a great time! And next thing I knew, they were dating exclusively! From there I was constantly seeing her social media updates about the bike rides they were going on, the wine and beer tastings they were doing, and basically all of the adventures they were enjoying together! I remember her describing it as feeling lucky she got to always be hanging out with her best friend.
Fast forward to this summer, Travis brought Michelle to his family reunion, where he gave a speech in front of his entire family about how important family is to him, which transitioned to how important Michelle is to him, and culminated in a marriage proposal with a ring including stones from his grandmother’s ring! They got the whole thing on video and it was one of the sweetest things I’ve seen!
I’m so excited that these two love birds found each other. Michelle is such a dynamic person and Travis is her perfect match, which was so clear to me during their engagement session! I’m honored to be the one to document these special memories for you guys during your Baker Park engagement photos! Thank you for choosing me 🙂
OK, enough of the mushy stuff – on to their gorgeous Baker Park engagement photos!
I wanted to give a shout out to these shops who helped bring together Michelle’s look for her & Travis’ Baker Park engagement photos:
Engagement Ring: Gold Thumb Jewelry
Michelle’s Hair: Elements of Style Salon in Frederick, Maryland
Michelle’s Manicure: Rose Nails
