These Arlington newborn photos have triple special meaning in my world! Baby Asher was born two weeks ago tomorrow and he is the first Asher I’ve ever met besides my nephew who was born with CDH. He is a special little guy, such a trooper and so, so funny (he’s almost two and a half years old now). Because of him the name Asher will always have special meaning to me so I was really excited to learn Cara and Tim’s newest addition would be named such a great name.
These Arlington newborn photos are also special because I had the honor of photographing Asher’s parents and big sister last fall. Annica was such a doll, was so great about having her photos taken, and I could see so much love for her beaming from both her parents. That love has just expanded now and I got to witness it first hand when I spent some time at their home last week taking Asher’s Arlington newborn photos.
The third reason these Arlington newborn photos are special is because Annica is the same age I was when I got a little brother. I was four years old when my brother was born and I remember being excited but unsure about the whole thing… and kind of perturbed he was crying all the time! haha I’m sure Annica is experiencing all of those things right now, but little does she know what a gift it is to have a little brother. Someone to play with, to teach things, to have inside jokes with, to rag on your parents with, and to be so very proud of when they’re doing awesome at life later on.
Asher has this adorable blonde hair, whic h was so fun, because as I told Cara – I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a newborn with bright blonde hair! Just one more thing to make this tiny human super special 🙂 He was such a trooper throughout our session, and honestly pretty funny when he passed out from being milk drunk! I think this little guy will be having his sister laughing in no time!
Congratulations to Asher’s entire family!
