Favorites – 2015, Year In Photos

Putting together this year-in-review post was so much fun! And I realized: I became a freakin’ photographer this year! I mean, in my heart I’ve been one for years. In my mind I’ve been one for maybe a couple years. But this year, THIS year, 2015, I became a photographer in reality, in practice, in public, through hard work, determination, sweat, tears, and believing in myself. This was my year!
Lately my mind has been racing with thoughts of 2016 – creative ideas, business plans, and everything I learned/need to implement from the recent Rising Tide Society Summit, but I need to take a breath and savor the sweet success I’ve experienced this year before the year disappears.
This year I had the privilege of capturing special occasions and moments for so many couples and families, creating uplifting, positive experiences & providing tangible memories for them that will last a lifetime. From first kisses as married couples, to sleepy newborn faces, to family fun with tiny humans, I have been able to share in so many meaningful moments, which is honestly my favorite part of being a photographer.
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite images from 2015. I hope scrolling through will bring you as much happiness & as many smiles as these photos brought to the people in them. And make sure to check back next week to see what I have in store for 2016!

It feels my heart with joy to read how happy and accomplished you are. I am currently trying to establish my photography business, working to adapt to a new and small marking after moving overseas.
