I love giving graduates time to celebrate and really soak in the moment as a you reflect on your big accomplishment and anticipate your future.
Your graduation session is the perfect time to capture images of who you are at this momentous time in your life, outside of the classroom! You get to show off your cap and gown, include your family & friends, and choose a location that highlights your time in D.C. Especially after the past two years of challenges with virtual learning and social distancing, a graduation session is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up, be fancy for a day, and give yourself the time to celebrate!

STEP ONE: connect
I do my best to make sure all my clients and I are a great fit for each other. Connection is one of my biggest values, so I know it’s important for a client to connect with and trust their photographer, and be excited about working with them! The first step to forming that connection is through an initial email. I answer any questions you have and we get to know each other!
STEP TWO: Plan & Prep Your Session
This is where my creative and type A sides really get to mix! I will help you plan for your session with everything from suggesting a location to giving you guidance for outfits planning. I also give tips through customized blog posts and a logistics email the week of your session. I even help you plan how to include your pet!
STEP THREE: YOUR SESSION
My mission is to help everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera so we get beautiful, genuine images that highlight who you truly are. I’ll talk you through poses and give you plenty of instruction. We’ll walk around the location looking for beautiful light and picturesque backgrounds, and you’ll get a mix of photos in your regalia and headshots, as well as group photos if you're including your friends or family.
STEP FOUR: YOUR IMAGES GALLERY
You’ll receive a personalized (private) digital images gallery with dozens of photos you’re gonna love! And before that happens you’ll get sneak peeks to tide you over shortly after your session.

grad Mini session marathon
The morning of April 30th, I will be hosting a graduation mini session marathon at the Lincoln Memorial. These are 25 minute sessions for one person, and limited spots are available. You'll get photos with your cap and gown, as well as a few headshots, at one of the most popular locations for graduation photos in the city.
