One of the reasons at the top of my list for why I love photography is it provides opportunities for trips down memory lane. Even as the photographer, going to a location where I’ve shot before offers the chance for me to reminisce on past shoots & realize how far I’ve come in such a short time. Such was the case for this Constitution Hall headshots session I’m sharing today.
I love headshots sessions because they allow me to get to know people who are passionate about their business, just like I am! If you’re getting fresh headshots taken, you obviously care about your business and know headshots go a long way toward finding success. If you’re investing the time, energy, and money in having headshots professionally taken, you are actually investing time, energy, and money right back into your business. Having up-to-date headshots taken by a photographer show you care, you’re serious, and you’re professional.
Charles is all of those things! He works in a business where his headshots will have high visibility & he knew he should have some updated photos taken. Charles actually saw the headshots of one of his friends on Facebook and decided to reach out to the photographer – me! – to schedule a session of his own. When he mentioned liking the bright white backdrop of the stone buildings, iconic in the D.C. area, in his friend’s images, I knew we had to set up a Constitution Hall headshots session for him.
The first ever headshots session I photographed was at Constitution Hall, almost exactly two years ago, so I was excited to return. I too like the bright back backdrop & the stone columns just scream D.C.! It’s the perfect spot for any D.C. business person to have their headshots taken.
Golden hour worked its magic & gave us the perfect light for our shoot! I’m excited to share these images with you & if you too want to take a trip down memory lane, click {here} to see my last Constitution Hall headshots session circa 2015.
