We’re shifting gears today! Out of cherry blossom season and into grad season. And we’re kicking off grad season with these Marymount group graduation photos!
There are so many colleges and universities in the Washington, D.C. metro area. And I’ve had the honor of photographing graduates from many of those schools. I believe this was my first session with Marymount graduates. And thanks to these three ladies and their Marymount group graduation photos, Marymount is now one of my favs!
Alyssa, Holly, and Kayla were all graduating with their bachelor of science degrees with the class of 2022 . And all three of them were looking forward to helping people in their time of need, via their physical therapy or physician’s assistant degrees. How noble!
I met the trio at the Lincoln Memorial. We were supposed to travel to the Jefferson Memorial as well, but once we were at the Lincoln, we had so much fun we decided to stay there. Their goal for their Marymount group graduation photos was to have a great time and create memories they could cherish for a lifetime. All it takes is one look at these photos to see we were able to do just that!
I just absolutely love how these photos turned out! One thing that always stands out to me with group portraits (whether that’s family photos or grad photos) is how much outfit color choice matters to my eye. A well coordinated group just makes for more pleasing-t0-the-eye photos. And in this case, it was that all three ladies wore white and neutral shoes. It just looks so cohesive! Not that everyone has to wear the same color – that’s just one way to help the group photos look awesome for graduation photos.
Did this post get you excited to book your own graduation photos, headshots, or branding session?! If yes, send me a note and we can chat about what you have in mind: contact me
