If you liked yesterday’s post with Naina and Josh’s colorful Tranquility Farm Hindu wedding, you’re going to love today’s post! Today I’m excited to share images from the second part of Naina and Josh’s big day – their summer colors Tranquility Farm wedding!
Naina is Hindu so the couple had a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on the morning of their wedding day, and since Josh’s family is Catholic, they held a second ceremony in the evening. Two full weddings in one day! Whew! I was so impressed by this couple’s dedication to their families, their faiths, and to each other. Each of them seemed to be so present, in the moment, and relaxed throughout their busy wedding day! It was beautiful to witness and capture.
I loved how they brought color into each portion of their day in different ways. The Hindu ceremony was all about rich, vibrant, primary hues, while the second part of the day was focused around their summer colors Tranquility Farm wedding. Summery corals, vibrant pinks (peony pink!), and delicate oranges and yellows complemented the baby blues, lilac, and sage green of their wedding invitations and bridal details. You know I was in photography heaven!
Naina and Josh included a lot of sentimental touches throughout this portion of their summer colors Tranquility Farm wedding. Again, Naina had both of her sisters help her into her wedding dress, and Josh had cameos of his grandparents pinned into his jacket. Each set of people walked down the aisle to their own song played acoustically on the cello (‘Despacito’ for the groomsmen!), and they wrote their own nostalgic, romantic, and humorous vows.
They even had a special cake brought out for Naina’s grandparents to cut, as they were celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary that day! And I have to give a special shout out to Naina’s sister, Neha, who did a Michael Scott inspired roast instead of a toast! I love a good ‘The Office’ reference. “Boom, roasted!” Oh, and AND! Josh brewed four different kinds of beer for the wedding (like all the beer at the wedding was brewed by him!) and his family designed and constructed a beer wall for people to pour their own beers! OMG!!
Of all the special moments throughout the day, the thing that stood out the most is the way Josh looked at Naina. It’s the look I first noticed during their proposal portraits, I saw it again at their engagement party, and their Mehndi party the night before their summer colors Tranquility Farm wedding. It’s the look every bride wants to get from her groom: adoration, respect, and love.
Congratulations and best wishes, love birds! May the rest of your days be filled with as much love, faith, family, and color as your wedding day.
