Sam and Tina are engaged!! And I am so excited to share their National Arboretum proposal photos with you today, and to relive the magic of the whole event.
Sam wanted to show his girlfriend (now fiancee) a beautiful place that she’d never seen before, so a National Arboretum proposal seemed like the perfect fit. He designed the most beautiful ring and invited his parents and her parents to attend so they could watch the whole thing unfold from afar. It all came together so beautifully!
When Sam and Tina arrived, he guided her through the columns, explaining the history and why the columns are located there now. (He did some research beforehand!) And just when Tina was least expecting it, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! It was so sweet – the perfect National Arboretum proposal! And she was so excited!
Shortly after I introduced myself, their parents came over to surprise Tina! They brought balloons and flowers, and gave hugs all around. It was so heartwarming to witness the excitement of both families getting the opportunity to celebrate together.
After a few group photos, their parents went to the car to enjoy some air conditioning, and I got to spend time with Sam and Tina taking photos around the columns. Y’all – these two are so cute together! Tina was genuinely surprised by the proposal, which I think lead to her even greater delight! She kept saying she felt like she was dreaming and walking in the clouds. Sam, I think that is the mark that you did a wonderful job with the National Arboretum proposal and an even better job loving your lady!
Congratulations and best wishes to the newly engaged love birds! May you always feel like you’re in the midst of a wonderful daydream <3
