Old Town Anniversary Photos

Today we get to celebrate Megan and Ian’s five year anniversary via their Old Town anniversary photos!

Professional Photo Newbies

Megan and Ian had never had professional photos taken before. (You would never know that by how natural they look in these photos!) They wanted to commemorate their five year wedding anniversary with Old Town anniversary photos. They were excited to include the sweet gazebo at the Carlyle House. And once we were there and I saw the gorgeous autumn colors, I realized how idyllic this little garden really is!

Autumn Colors

Sometimes it’s challenging to take my type of light and bright photos in the Carlyle House garden because it gets a little dark back there. Especially on the day we were there, it was overcast. But somehow the autumn colors brought the place to life and we had just enough light to make the photos sing! Not only that, but Megan and Ian were just pure joy to have in front of the camera.

Cohesive Gallery

These two managed to laugh and love their way through their session! And I’m obsessed with how their photos turned out! Another thing I love about these Megan and Ian’s Old Town anniversary photos is how the autumn colors in the trees are featured in almost all the photos. It really ties the images together and makes for a really cohesive gallery… if I do say so myself!
