HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!

I’m excited to share a new-to-me location with you today! I took Jennifer and Davis’ Potomac River walk engagement photos a couple of weeks ago. And I’ve been chomping at the bit to share them with you. They’re so good!
Davis reached out to me about Jennifer and his Potomac River walk engagement photos. He had the absolute sweetest things to say about Jennifer! And I could tell he was so excited to have these photos done with his beautiful fiancée. Davis let me know Jennifer had always had this specific spot in mind for their engagement photos. And I was excited to hear more about it.
I’m definitely used to taking portraits along the mall. The Lincoln Memorial is practically my home away from home at this point. And still… sometimes it’s nice to shoot elsewhere. That’s why it was refreshing to hear from Davis that Jennifer wanted to do their engagement photos along the Potomac River walkway between the Lincoln Memorial and Kennedy Center.
When I met up with Jennifer the morning of their Potomac River walk engagement photos session, I had to ask why she chose that location. She said she used to go for long walks there and always thought the views were beautiful. She thought the views of the Memorial Bridge across the river would look great in photos. And she was right!
Jennifer and Davis were so fun to take photos of! They are very comfortable with each other, and totally smitten too! That was obvious. They were up for all ideas I had and were so sweet to each other. Often getting lost in inside jokes and conversation while I was posing them. Just look at Jennifer’s beautiful smile – it’s so genuine when she’s looking at Davis.
Congratulations and best wishes to the love birds!
