I’m excited to introduce you to REHP Love Birds, Lisa and Claudio, with their classic Georgetown engagement photos!
Make It Special
I love when my couples make their engagement session a special occasion in and of itself, and that’s just what Lisa and Claudio did for their classic DC engagement photos. The couple live separately in different cities, and often meet up in the middle, in Washington, D.C., to spend weekends together. They love spending time in Georgetown while here, so of course that was the perfect location for their engagement session.
We did their engagement photos on Labor Day weekend when the two love birds planned to spend time together in the city. Lisa made the most of having her hair and makeup done for the session by planning a dinner with friends after they were done with their photos! So smart! It’s especially true for Lisa and Claudio since they do long distance, but even for couples who live in the same city, it’s nice to make your engagement session something special by getting dressed up and planning an outing after your photos are done.
Hoya Connection
Lisa and Claudio are both Georgetown University Law School alums (aka Hoya Lawyas!), which is a sweet connection they have. Even though technically the Georgetown campus isn’t the law school, it still made sense to include the campus in their classic Georgetown engagement photos since we were already going to be in Georgetown. I’m so glad we did! We spent a short time there, but I love that they now have photos together in that special place.
It’s a Vibe
The weather and light were literally perfect that evening, and I just love when that happens because it makes it so much easier for people to relax and enjoy each others’ company in front of the camera. That was definitely the case for Lisa and Claudio’s classic Georgetown engagement photos! My favorite is when I put a couple in a pose and they just kind of vibe off each other. Claudio was easy to laugh and Lisa clearly had fun with some of the poses. Seeing how cute they are together in front of the camera got me that much more excited for their wedding this May!
Enjoy Lisa and Claudio’s classic Georgetown engagement photos, and keep an eye out for them in a few of months when you see them back here on the blog for their DC War Memorial and Ritz Carlton wedding!
