Casual Lincoln Memorial Engagement Photos
Meet Ashley and Todd! These two REHP Love Birds are saying ‘I do’ late this year, and today I’m excited to share with you their casual Lincoln Memorial engagement photos.
FULL CIRCLE MOMENT
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I love full circle moments, and my having the honor to work with Ashley and Todd is definitely a full circle moment! I met Todd back in my days working as a government contractor, actually at the job I left in order to do photography full time. Todd and I worked in the same department with lots of other wonderful people. We worked on different projects, but would catch up regularly throughout the office. We often chatted about our dogs and it was fun hearing about Todd’s travels.
Cut to last year when Todd’s now fiancee, Ashley, reached out to me via Instagram – interested in details on my wedding photography packages. She let me know that Todd gave her my info now that they were engaged, saying his former coworker was a photographer. I was so psyched to hear from her and to know Todd had gotten engaged!

Fast forward a bit and here we are, working together! It’s such a cool blending of my worlds and just an overall honor to get to work with such an in-love, sweet couple. Ashley and Todd wanted to include some DC landmarks in their photos, so we planned a classic casual Lincoln Memorial engagement photos session earlier this summer.
PROUD PET PARENTS
One thing I love about these two (besides how freaking adorable they are in their photos!) is how they are dedicated pet parents, just like yours truly. Ashley and Todd each came to the relationship with a pup, and they also have a cat! I think it was a bit too early (and hot?) to include all their four-legged friends in their casual Lincoln Memorial engagement photos, but I think these photos might have been in cuteness overload if they were included! haha
‘TIL WE MEET AGAIN
