HI, I'M RACHEL!

Ooh, I have been so excited to share Trey & Mizna’s autumn Inn at Perry Cabin proposal photos with you for months and the wait is finally over! (The wait you didn’t even know existed haha So the wait is over for me, basically!)
The Makings of a Perfect Proposal
Y’all, Trey went ALL.OUT. for his autumn Inn at Perry Cabin proposal! First of all, he planned for it to happen at the Inn at Perry Cabin, and you all know my love affair with this location and venue. There’s just something about it that creates a feeling of happiness and peace as soon as you drive in. It was the absolute perfect spot for Trey to pop the question!
Surprise Squared
Not only did he pick a wonderful location for his autumn Inn at Perry Cabin proposal, he had the folks at the Inn help him put together the most adorable, quaint, posh nook for Mizna and him to celebrate after he asked for her hand. You know I love a surprise proposal, but what I love even more is when there are surprises upon surprises (wait, am I the one being proposed to?? haha). I just love watching the person being proposed to experience even more joy and delight – even after they say yes!
Since quarantine started, the Inn has added a couple small greenhouses to their lawn, overlooking the water. They blend in beautifully with the scenery and it creates a safe space for couples to have some romantic time together while feeling a little normalcy of being in public, eating at a restaurant. Anyway – Trey had the little greenhouse decked out with lots of personal touches, as you’ll see below.
A Walk to Remember
Trey convinced Mizna to go for a little walk along the water before their afternoon boat tour, and little did she know I was hiding on a nearby porch, ready to capture Trey’s proposal. Trey coyly suggested they take a selfie so they could take off their masks, and while Mizna looked out over the water, he dropped to one knee, waiting for her as she turned around. Ahh! So romantic!
Mizna of course said yes (look how excited she was!), and after a few portraits, Trey lead her to the greenhouse for the second surprise! I gave the two love birds a chance to toast and enjoy their champagne while I took ring photos (omg – that ring! I hate the word ‘swoon’ but I feel like it’s necessary here!). We finished up with a walk around the property before I said goodbye and left the newly engaged couples to enjoy their afternoon boat ride!
They are literally the cutest!
How stinkin’ adorable is this?!
They look like they: 1. are genuinely enjoying this swing (they were!) and 2. were born to sit there together.
Yeah, I’d say she’s excited to be engaged to him <3
