HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!
micro WEDDINGS
elopements
Jasmine and Will tied the knot in January on their three year anniversary, and today I’m excited to share their Old Town Alexandria elopement photos with you!
It’s All in the Location
Jasmine and Will included so many special touches to make their Old Town Alexandria elopement super special and unique to them. They chose Old Town Alexandria because they love the area, and Carlyle House specifically because they just loved how beautiful of a location it is. And it seriously is! I love the white stucco and soft blue accents. It truly was a wonderful backdrop to Jasmine and Will’s I dos.
Just the Two of Them
Jasmine invited her parents and sister to attend their ceremony. Before their official ceremony, Jasmine and Will did a first look – just the two of them – and exchanged their vows just after they saw each other. It was so sweet to see those special moments between the two of them, and I’m glad we got some photos for keepsakes.
Mementos
Jasmine and Will’s Old Town Alexandria elopement ceremony included them storing away a special bottle of wine in an engraved wooden box. The box was engraved with their names and wedding date, and it was such a sweet touch! I could tell Jasmine and Will are a really loving, sentimental couple, and mementos like that obviously mean a lot to them.
Windy and Wonderful
After Jasmine and Will’s ceremony, we took some time to do love bird portraits around town – at Carlyle House and the famous Lee Street Alley. Y’all, I have to give some props to Jasmine especially because it was freezing the day of their ceremony! I’m talking in the 30s with 40mph wind gusts. They were both so dedicated to getting wonderful photos, and I’m so glad they were, because they are a beautiful couple and we got some really great pics!
The.sweetest.
Look how excited they are to be married!
They mastered the dip!
