Happy Monday! I’m back in the office this evening after a quick weekend trip to the beach where I got to play Corolla NC photographer in the Outer Banks. So fun!
Saturday morning I was up early to meet Jana and Joe at the Capitol for their sunrise engagement session! Not only were these love birds early for their session, they were chipper! I was super impressed!
After Jana and Joe’s Capitol Hill engagement session, I came home for a quick nap before heading out for the weekend to play Corolla NC photographer . Naps are a must after sunrise sessions – I don’t even play anymore! haha
Sunday we spent the day on the beach playing Corolla NC photographer. It was the perfect beach day! It was super hot but clouds rolled in for just enough cover to cool it down slightly to the point of being totally enjoyable.
I don’t know about you, but I’m usually super chicken about going in the water at the beach. I imagine it’s teeming with sharks, rip tides, jelly fish – all the things. (I know, I’m a little extra!). But the water was really calm, so I decided to venture in – and it was so fun! I probably annoyed my boyfriend with all the screaming as each wave crashed into me, but hey, that’s just part of my charm.
We played with the football, went for a walk, dug a trench only to be stopped by the sheriff and told to fill it back up (ha!), looked for sea shells, and had a little photo shoot while playing Corolla NC photographer.
Finally we went for a drive through the neighborhoods and ended up seeing a bunch of wild horses! We usually see a few horses while we’re there, but this time we saw multiple groups totaling around 30 horses! It was magical <3
I hope to get some of these beach photos added to my print shop later this week! I’ll keep you posted on that!
I’m excited to be back home for the week before heading back to the beach next weekend for the holiday! On tap for the blog this week – #REHPlovebirds Julia and Michael’s engagement photos tomorrow and Rebecca and Ben’s wedding on Thursday. Have a wonderful week!!
