HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!

What an eventful few months Allison and Preston have had! I’m excited to tell you all about it alongside their U.S. Capitol engagement photos today!
Preston contacted me early this year, excited for his plans to propose to his then girlfriend, Allison. We made plans for him to propose at the Capitol in the spring. But, well, Mother Nature had other plans, as we all know!
Preston went off to Texas to spend quarantine with Allison and her family (so romantic!). He wanted to go ahead with his proposal while they were there, so we switched his proposal photo shoot to a U.S. Capitol engagement photos session instead!
Preston did the cutest thing for the proposal! He included his baby nephew by dressing him up in a onesie with the words “will you be my aunt?” on it. When Allison was handed the baby to hold, she was so enamored by his cuteness, she almost missed the message! When Preston pointed it out to her, of course she said YES!
Allison and Preston met at the Capitol while they were both interning for a Congressman, so of course it was the perfect location for their U.S. Capitol engagement photos. Preston is such a thoughtful fiancé – he had Allison’s ring designed in rose told to match the Tiffany necklace and bracelet he has given her as anniversary gifts in the past. So sweet! Plus, the diamond is an heirloom stone, making it that much more precious and gorgeous.
These two love birds were pure gold in front of the camera! They joked, giggled, and enjoyed the heck out of their U.S. Capitol engagement photos, as I think is super evident in their photos. As is their love for each other.
To top off Allison and Preston’s eventful few months, they adopted a Newfoundland puppy last week!! Congratulations and best wishes on all your milestones, love birds, and all the many more to come!
