Happy Monday, friends! I’m back with another Fun Monday post! This weekend I got to play Capitol Hill photographer with a tour of the area plus three fun photo shoots.
My boyfriend has never been to Capitol Hill! And since I was getting to play Capitol Hill photographer with a photo session scheduled there on Saturday, I decided to head over there early and give him a tour. We walked up to the Capitol steps, which I never do during photo shoots! It was so beautiful and honestly breathtaking being so close up. I posed for a few photos myself – trying to get better about having photos of me! And of course, Milli needed a close up as well.
After our tour of the three big buildings there, we got take out from Santa Rosa Taqueria. Their tacos are so good y’all! Yum! The perfect meal to eat in the car, quarantine style! haha After that he dropped me off for my session and graciously waited to pick me up afterwards. We cruised over to Georgetown University for another session with two graduates, Peter and Andres, where again he waited in the car, doing some work of his own. He’s the sweetest! It was nice having him there with me, especially during this time. Having to wear a mask, gloves at certain times, and disinfecting from top to bottom is a little stressful. It was nice having some company in between sessions!
Sunday I was excited to shoot at a new-to-me park in Arlington that my friend Rebecca introduced me to. I met her there early with her niece and nephew, Ruby and Noble. I snapped some photos of those two cuties before a maternity session with Jo and Todd. I am in love with this park! It’s everything I’ve been looking for and I’m exited to shoot there more often now!
To play catch up from last week a little, I have some sneak peeks from a few other grad sessions. Katrina and her crew will be featured on the blog later this week. I’m gonna share the whole story of why I’m doing so many graduation sessions right now. So stay tuned for that!
On Thursday and Friday I got to play more at being a Capitol Hill photographer for Hannah, Jasmine, and Victoria’s grad sesh, and then for Thalia’s law school graduation portraits.
I’m excited for another busy week coming up! I hope you all are having a fun Monday as well!
