HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!

Leave it to a world crisis, literally a global pandemic, to encourage me to do something I’ve been procrastinating on for over five years. (Where’s the face palm emoji when you need it?) This has been five years in the making and it’s a big day. Drum roll please: I am super excited to tell you – I have launched my very own photo prints shop!! *Throws confetti!*
I’ve been wanting to create a photo prints shop since literally the moment I started my business, and it’s always been in the back of my mind to create a photo prints shop. It just seemed like a lot of work, I didn’t know where to start, and I didn’t feel inspired. And if you know me, you know I like to take action from inspiration. I’ve waited five years for that inspiration, and it finally came this week!
The inspiration that hit me this week was knowing there are lots of folks at home right now (OK, most of the world…) and y’all want stuff to do! One of my favorite things to do when I have time on my hands is decorate my apartment. I love arranging things in a visually pleasing way, I feel lit up when color schemes come together, and it brings me joy to see my home filled with things I love. I was brainstorming ways I could be helpful right now, which got me thinking: I can help by giving you the opportunity to bring the outside IN!
Now more than ever, it might be fun to add some prints to your walls as a way of bringing the outside in for you to enjoy while you’re spending more time at home during quarantine.
The images in the photo prints shop are all outdoors scenes with a nature focus. They’re images from some of my favorite places, like California, Old Town Alexandria, and D.C. You’ll notice a heavy focus on water, sky, and flowers because those are my absolute favorite things to take photos of when I shoot for fun.
I enjoyed myself when taking these photos, even when I was editing them. And it’s my hope that that joy is transferred to you and your home when you purchase a print to hang in your house. This is truly a project based in joy and love!
The REHP photo prints shop is currently hosted on the gallery website where I deliver all my client images. The shop that prints them is a professional grade print shop so you get the highest quality product (more on that here). I have eighteen prints listed in six categories. Right now my plan is to add seasonal prints (starting next week with the cherry blossoms!!) and change out photos in each category quarterly. I may also keep up the best sellers… we’ll see!
Ideally I would’ve loved to add a new page to my website from which you could purchase the prints directly. And although that is something I still plan to do in the future, that’s a large and expensive endeavor I’m not prepared to take on right now (keeping it real with ya!). I didn’t let that limitation stop me though! I got innovative and came up with a solution that will serve you just as well.
My hope is that you guys have fun with this and enjoy decorating your home and/or office with these images, or giving them as gifts to loved ones so they can do the same.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or feedback – let me know what you’d like to see in the shop (you can reach me here)! And keep reading for some inspiration on how to combine the prints, as well as to learn how to use the photo prints shop and order prints.
As my launch treat to you, now through March 25th, enjoy a 15% off coupon using code LAUNCH at check out!
In my own home, I like to hang or set up prints together by theme or by color. Here are some examples of how you can do so with the prints currently included in the shop:
