Ooh I’m so excited to show you another side of Georgetown today with Madeleine and Alex’s historic Georgetown engagement photos!
Madeleine and Alex really love Georgetown, so it made sense to do their engagement photos there. They wanted to feature more the of the historic side streets with a little bit of the waterfront, so that’s what we did!
I get to meet a lot of couples (obvs) and it’s fun to see each pair’s dynamic and how they interact with each other. Madeleine and Alex are a couple who are in their own world when they’re together! They were chatting and laughing with each other the whole time we were shooting, which makes for some great, natural photos. Their love really shines through in their historic Georgetown engagement photos!
Another fun thing I got to see at Madeleine and Alex’s historic Georgetown engagement photos sesh was them swing dancing! The couple loves to swing dance together, so I made sure to have them do some dance moves and just clicked away as they danced! And what was extra fun is that as dancers, they knew how to do the perfect dip! It’s challenging to teach a couple to do a natural looking dip at a photo shoot, but these two are pros and looked great!
We started the session at this adorable little church (thanks Katelyn James!) and made our way along the side streets before hightailing it to the waterfront for sunset. The waterfront was gorgeous with all the greenery starting to turn autumn colors. Madeleine and Alex really got the best day for their historic Georgetown engagement photos!
Congratulations and best wishes to the love birds! <3
