It’s that time again! Everyone’s favorite day of the week! Right?! haha OK, maybe not, but hey – at least the day is pretty much over . . . since I’m super late in getting this posted! I’m excited to tell you about my weekend where I got to play second photographer at a Woodend Sanctuary wedding, meet with potential wedding clients, and take a full day to rest up.
I kicked off the weekend on Friday evening in the best way! I got to meet with two lovely people, a future bride and groom, and hopefully future REHP love birds, in Tyson’s at a sweet little coffee shop, Greenberry’s. The place smelled amazing and it was the perfect backdrop to discuss all their wedding details and how photography will play a part in their day. I love getting to meet up with potential clients so we can get to know one another and see if we’re a good fit. Fingers crossed you will see more of them here in the future!
Saturday I got to be Erin Tetterton’s second photographer at a Woodend Sanctuary wedding. It was my first ever time to be a ‘second’ and it was so much fun! I made myself right at home with the bride and groom and had such a great time at their beautiful, intimate, warm ceremony and reception. The vows, toasts, and speeches were so touching, it helped me realize I’m gonna cry even when it’s not ‘my’ couple! They had the best group of vendors that really made their day run smoothly and made the job super easy for us photogs. I’ll be able to share the images a little later down the line on my social media, but for now you can see some of Erin’s shots over at her Instagram here. (They’re the couple standing by the window.)
Sunday I slept in, accepting the good ol’ wedding photographer hangover that had taken over my body! haha I rested most of the day to try and shake off the sore feet, legs, and back. Finally I got up to make lunch, do laundry, and even put together a console I got a couple weeks ago at Ikea! I even did a little work on my day off, editing some newborn photos I took last week. I delivered them first thing this morning and just love how they turned out!
