Studeo 23 – Bryana’s Headshots

I’m so excited to finally debut a new blog style I’ve been working on & to feature fellow entrepreneur Bryana King of Studeo 23! I have so much to say whenever anyone asks me about my business, so I figured the people I take headshots for would also have a lot to say about their businesses. The idea for this new style of post is that I’ll pose a set of questions & post their responses below. Pretty straightforward!

Tell me about the mission & vision behind your business.

Our mission is not only to strive for excellence in every aspect but to also create memorable experiences in the lives of others. While being innovative and highly professional we dedicate our time, emotion, passion, and energy into making sure our clients have the best and most unique experiences possible. As I’ve said before we strive for excellence in every aspect, so clients will be provided with creativeness, professionalism, and peace of mind as we ensure the execution of flawless events.  What are you most passionate about within your business?

I am most passionate about the impact that I have on clients. As a planner it’s expected that we’ll plan flawless events and give the client peace of mind but I live for finding different ways to be innovative. Studeo 23 is about being eager and striving for greatness. When I come up with ideas I always think of ways I can improve them to not only benefit me but also the client. What was the catalyst for you to turn the dream of owning your own business into a reality?

I would say it was my desire for freedom/independence. I’ve had jobs in the past where I felt that I was going above and beyond for everyone else’s benefit but my own. In situations like that you can’t grow. I recently worked for a company for 2 years and was fired by someone who was only there for 2 weeks with no remorse. When working for that company I was so dedicated to them that I didn’t have time to pursue my own dreams. Being fired actually worked to my benefit because I learned to not make myself so available to people who don’t appreciate me and was able to start my business. 

Who is your ideal client & who is your dream celebrity client?

I would say my ideal client would not only appreciate what we do as planners but also be open minded, trust my company and believes in what we do. My dream celebrity client would be none other than Beyonce! From where do you draw inspiration?

I draw my inspiration from the Ronda Rousey saying “DNB” aka “Do Nothing B****” which is that last thing any woman should want to be labeled as! I constantly think of the phrase and how that’s what I don’t want to be. I want women to see me and my business evolve and understand that they can do it to. We all have our purpose and I believe mines is to help people. As a planner I am able to do that in many ways. Ultimately I get my inspiration from inspiring others.  Who in your life has had the most influence on you as a business owner?

The person who has influenced my life the most as a business owner is actually someone I’ve never met in person. Her name is Briana Wilson, we’re around the same age and she’s the owner of a clothing line called “MATTE brand”. About 2 years ago while online shopping I came across her brand’s Instagram page, which led me to her personal page where I started following her. Within those 2 years I’ve seen her evolve into the business women she is today. Her clientele has grown a lot and even celebrities are wearing her pieces. She’s very passionate and innovative with her brand. Things get tough especially when first starting out but she showed me not only that there is a way but also how to be my own yes.

What trend are you most excited about for the 2017 wedding season?

The trend that I am most excited about is minimalist/simplicity!
