HI, I'M RACHEL!
welcome!
micro WEDDINGS
elopements
You may recognize these two love birds from earlier posts with their headshots photos in downtown Annapolis. I met Jason & Lawrence on Easter Sunday to take their headshots but we wrapped up by taking some photos to commemorate their time as an engaged couple. That might be the best way to wrap up any photo session, if you ask me! We grabbed a few photos just as it was starting to drizzle, but after all, what’s more romantic than love caught in the rain?
Jason & Lawrence’s love story is pure modern day fairy tale magic! These two met several moons ago and ended up reconnecting years later & decided to start dating. Jason was living in North Carolina where he’s from, and Lawrence was living in Maryland. After dating long distance for a while, Jason surprised Lawrence with a romantic, rose filled proposal complete with a Tiffany ring. Lawrence obviously couldn’t resist & the rest is history!
J + L are to be married next week while vacationing in Hawaii (!!!! Told you it was a fairy tale!), so I’m super excited to share these photos just ahead of their island nuptials. These two sweethearts were already dressed in their headshots finest, looking dapper from head to toe, and we were in the perfect location – DTA. We walked along the cobblestone streets as they told me of how they met & when they got engaged, what their wedding plans were, and we wound up by the water near the St. John’s campus. College Creek, an inlet from the picturesque Severn River, and St. John’s campus set as the perfect backdrop for these loving Annapolis engagement photos.
Thanks to Jason & Lawrence for allowing me to capture these special photos, and best wishes for your Hawaiian wedding!
