Downtown Annapolis Head Shots Photographer
What do you do when you accidentally book a photo shoot on a holiday? Do it anyway, that’s what! Meeting up with Lawrence & his fiancé, Jason, at state circle for a downtown Annapolis head shots session added an extra element of celebration to my Easter Sunday. I mean, what better to do on a spring holiday than have fun with a friend? We had a lovely time strolling around DTA, trying to beat the impending rain, and capturing photos that are sure to take Lawrence’s resume to the next level.
A favorite addition to my workflow has been the pre-photo shoot client questionnaire. It’s a great way to get in sync with my clients with regards to what they want their photos to do for them & what they are looking to experience during their session. It’s a wonderful way to set them up to have a good time & to ensure I am able to provide exactly what they are looking for. Lawrence let me know he wanted to convey professionalism & friendliness with clean photos during his downtown Annapolis head shots sesh. And I think we did just that!
First of all, Mr. Lawrence showed up looking super dapper in his Easter-Sunday-Head-Shots-Photo-Shoot Best. (We just made that a thing btw.) His navy suit with blue & white checked shirt created the perfect mix of professional & friendly, while looking crisp & clean. And the backdrops to be found around downtown Annapolis are to.die.for. The whites of the state house columns, the old brick buildings along the walk, and stairways at St. John’s were straight from my photo shoot planning dreams!
We meandered the cobblestone sidewalks from the state house to St. John’s and even hopped on down to the banks of College Creek, snapping photos wherever we came across another must-have background. It was a fantastic way to spend a Sunday evening with the added bonus of turning out some stunning photos.
Thanks for spending part of your Easter with me Lawrence! I hope these head shots help you kick some ass & take names! 😉
