Maryland Engagement Photographer
The very first job I had as a photographer was taking engagement photos for my good friend, Alexis and her then fiance, Rob. I was so incredibly honored beyond words that Alexis thought of me to take their engagement photos and really excited at the same time! She knew I had a passion for photography, believed I could do a good job, and trusted me to take these precious photos they would have as keepsakes for the rest of their lives. Yeah, “honored” doesn’t really cover it!
So that’s where I got my start as what I like to call A Special Occasions Photographer.
Following that, the word got out and two other friends asked me to take their engagement photos for them as well! I was on a roll! haha Engagement sessions hold a special, sentimental place in my heart and I can’t wait to shoot more! The air is always filled with love, anticipation, and a sweet excitement for all there is to come. It’s just such a unique energy that I truly look forward to capturing.
So for today’s #tbt post, I bring you these three engagement sessions. First up – Alexis & Rob, who have been married almost four years and are parents to cutie pie one year old Apollo. And whose photos I took before I even had a DSLR or LightRoom! The other two couples you have seen featured on my blog and in my photo galleries before – Vanessa & Sean and Lisa & Bobby. Vanessa has been such a great support of my photography – asking me to document several family special occasions. And Lisa & Bobby actually had TWO engagement sessions! One on a freezing cold day in downtown Annapolis, MD, and another at their nearby boardwalk and beach on a warmer spring day.
I’d love to give a huge THANKS to these friends for believing in me, offering me the opportunity to capture these photos, and be a part of your journeys together!
