Maryland Wedding Photographer
Being that this is a fairly new website and I’ve been taking photos at special occasions for several years now, I figured I would take advantage of this whole #throwbackthursday phenomenon and post pictures from events that occurred over the past few years.
Todays’ post features a 2013 wedding – the first wedding I ever shot! I’ve come a long way since then, but these pictures evoke memories of how excited & honored I was to photograph such a special day. Truly a dream come true for me!
The nuptials took place near Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland. It’s nestled within some small mountains and the views – especially at sunset – were absolutely stunning. The bountiful white, pink, and green flower centerpieces, mason jar cocktail glasses, and blue grass band made for the perfect quintessential late spring country wedding. The vows were said before a small pond and by the end of the evening guests and wedding party alike were dancing barefoot under the tent to the groom jamming out on his banjo with the band, singing a song he wrote especially for his bride. It was an uniquely fun event as much as it was a beautiful and touching one.
I’d say for my first wedding shoot it was really successful! I’m excited to share these images with you in my very first #tbt post. Enjoy!
