HI, I'M RACHEL!

I know it’s early in the day, but pop the prosecco! I’m ready to celebrate! Today is an exciting day because it’s my photography website launch day!! Sometimes you just need a little refresh, a smidge of an update, and that’s what I’ve done to Rachel E.H. Photography’s home on the interwebs! To kick off my photography website launch, I thought I’d share some photos from my recent branding session with Cait Kramer Photography.
You’ll notice in these photos that they are of more than just me. There are flowers and prosecco, accessories, my camera, and even my dog! These items are more than just props. They are more than their superficial meanings. Each item influences my business in a unique way.
Prosecco. I love what it represents: Celebration. Energy. Excitement. Joy. This life is so fast paced, we rarely have a moment to slow down and appreciate the little things. Prosecco means making time to celebrate and reward our achievements! You hired a wedding photographer – cheers! You handed in your dissertation – cheers! It’s one month until your wedding & you have nearly everything squared away – cheers! It’s a little decadence and a little reward that we all deserve! … Kind of like professional photography (haha)…
Flowers. Flowers are a ping of happiness, of joy. A reminder that life is beautiful & full of gifts. I keep fresh flowers in my house for just this reason & I smile at each bouquet as I walk from room to room. I hope when you see a flower at our shoot location, in your photos (the dozens I take of your bridal bouquet!), or on my website or social media, you feel that ping of happiness too & remember life is full of gifts.
My pup, Milli. Milli is joy for me and I want to pass along that joy whenever I can. I don’t bring her to shoots, but I know how excited she’ll be the second I walk in the door when I get home!
Last, I’d love to mention how putting together this site revamp was a team effort. The ladies at Distillery Creative designed this site last year & I’m happy to say that it easily grew along with me as my business grew this year. Bobby at Symposit made all the adjustments, from adding new photos and text, to making sure everything was centered & aligned the way I wanted. Beth at Canoe Media Services proofread all the text & gave me her honest feedback, which was invaluable. Kim Hudson of Claritas Creative worked on some stuff behind the scenes to round out the new branding additions (book a session to see these special items!). Cait Kramer worked with me on the look & feel of my headshots shoot & took amazing photos I’m so excited to use! And finally, Ms. Jenna Kutcher & her amazing Photo Lab. The workshop helped me focus my brand & be proud of what I have to offer!
I encourage you to take a browse around the website today and pass along the link to anyone you think would be a good fit for me to work with to capture their lifetime memories!
