Hi everyone! I hope your Monday has been going swimmingly & you’re getting all the things done! This Monday I’m back from vacation & feeling rested and rejuvenated after a super busy couple of weeks prior. It’s the kick off to the busy season & I’ve got some fun stuff in the works that I can’t wait to start sharing! But for now, let’s get to this Fun Monday blog post!
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been able to do a Fun Monday post. I hate to let ‘busy’ be an excuse, but y’all, I have been hustlin’! Does anyone else tend to stack their weeks leading up to vacation with tons of work? I was working hard on some new projects as well as trying to get everything squared away so I could enjoy my week off, and it was all worth it! But darn if those Fun Monday posts didn’t get put on the back burner!
As I said, I was on vacation all last week. I got to turn on the out of office responder & be almost unplugged for the whole week. It was great! I rented a house in the Outer Banks and went to the beach, ate a bunch of seafood, swam in the pool, & collected lots of fun beachy memories. I already can’t wait to go back!
I actually had a short wedding shoot booked for the night of my return from vacay, so I got up super early on Saturday morning & made the 5+ hour drive home. I took a quick nap, ate some lunch, & got Milli set up for her first evening alone in eight days. The wedding was at National Harbor on the Elite National private yacht. You guys, this was a brilliant choice for a wedding! The grooms tied the knot in front of the illuminated ferris wheel right as the sun was setting beyond the horizon. It was one of the most picturesque ceremony spots I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to share more from Olin & Sidney’s special night on the blog for Wedding Wednesday this week!
As I mentioned, it’s the start of my busy season & to kick it off, I have something special planned for tomorrow! Check back in to see!
Have a great week everyone! <3
