Leesburg Wedding – Daniela & Steve

I’m excited to share the photos from Daniela & Steve’s Leesburg wedding with you today! It was a beautiful winter day last Saturday when they tied the knot at the quaint Weddings On Wirt. The sun was shining & the air was a little chilly, but the atmosphere inside this adorable venue in historic Leesburg, VA, was warm & glowing as this loving couple said their ‘I do’s’.

You may remember Daniela & Steve from Valentine’s Day, when Steve popped the question at the Georgetown waterfront, with the iconic Key Bridge in the background. Daniela & Steve enjoyed the natural feel of their proposal shoot & loved their photos, so they got in touch with me shortly thereafter to photograph their wedding. So exciting!

Daniela & Steve were drawn to the intimate feeling of Weddings On Wirt & were excited to host their family & friends there for their Leesburg wedding. They had such a wonderful group of people around them to celebrate their wedding day, starting with the amazing team at Weddings on Wirt, who coordinated everything from the decorations to officiating the ceremony. Daniela’s bridesmaids & mom laughed & joked their way through helping Daniela get ready in her dress & sparkling heels, & the air was thick with excitement & anticipation before the start of the ceremony.

Daniela & Steve were both looking forward to Daniela’s walk down the aisle, which would be the first time Steve would see her in her wedding gown. The moment did not disappoint. Daniela looked stunning & there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! After the ceremony we hopped outside just as the sun was setting to capture portraits in the area surrounding the venue, then hustled back inside for h’oeuvres, the champagne toasts, & all the other fun wedding stuff!

The highlight of the night, besides the sweetest first dance, was probably when Steve went for the garter! He did a little dance, went in for it, and the room erupted with laughter! And I’m pretty sure the youngest gentleman in attendance was the one who caught it!
