Wanderlust – Best of Beaches

One of my all-time favorite things to do, long before I officially called myself a photographer, is to experience new places through the lens of my camera. Whether it be meandering down a new-to-me street in a familiar town or exploring a place I had to take an airplane to find, this activity has always put me at ease and a brought peaceful joy to my heart. I’ve been so inspired to experiment with unfamiliar settings and new lenses when wandering around new locales with my camera and have produced literally thousands of images in so doing.

You can see why I want to find a way to share these photos with you as a regular feature on my blog.

So that’s just what I’m going to do. In a new category entitled Wanderlust, I’ll share photos from my travels, past and present. Yay!

This week, the pics I’ll be sharing are in honor of my boyfriend and I traveling to Cape Cod for our annual Labor Day week vacation. And since the cape is known for some of the nation’s most beautiful beaches and picturesque coastal landscapes, I thought it was only fitting to include my favorite beach / coastal photographs from trips past!

While you’re reading this, picture us on the beach hunting for sea glass, playing in the surf with our dog, and sunning ourselves on the white sandy cape beaches – because that is exactly what we’ll be doing! Ahhh… I can hear those waves crashing now…
